Why The 14 Lock Brewery
Allow us to introduce you to our wonderful microbrewery, right here at the Canal Inn at Bullbridge!
You’ll discover our popular different ales and seasonal tipples. All developed by our head brewer on site at the Canal Inn! Come and give them a try…
Considering the original function of The Canal Inn being to serve the people who lived and worked on the water, we feel that the link between us brewing our own local product to serve strongly ties with the building’s original purpose.
Why The Name?
We came to the name of The 14 Lock Brewery based on the original route and design of the canal which had 4 tunnels and 14 locks, being inspired by the landscape and history of our venue, this is the perfect name.
Is It Brewed Onsite?
Yes! We have a specially adapted cellar and brewery where our ales are crafted by our head brewer. We design seasonal tipples throughout the year and festive brews for the Christmas season.
Where Can I Try?
We would love you to visit our pub to try the ales and craft lagers available. You can also try them at our other venues The White Hart Inn and The Horse & Jockey as guest ales! (They sell out fast!)
